  • Public YouTube content. When you view a toy page, we display public YouTube content (videos, titles, view/like counts, public comments) retrieved via the YouTube API. We do not access private user data from YouTube and do not require you to sign in with a Google account to use isle.toys.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site.
  • Display trending toys, prices, embedded videos, and social content.
  • Send newsletters and product updates to subscribers (you may unsubscribe at any time).

4. How We Share Your Information

  • Service providers. We use third-party providers to host the Site, store data, send email, run analytics, and serve embedded content. Current providers include: Render.com (hosting), Supabase (database), Google (Google Analytics, YouTube embedded player), and various retailer affiliate networks.
  • Embedded third-party content. When the Site displays an embedded YouTube player, Reddit post, or TikTok video, the corresponding third-party platform may set its own cookies and collect information about your device and viewing activity, subject to its own privacy policy.
  • Affiliate networks. When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer and any associated affiliate network (Amazon Associates, Impact, ShareASale, etc.) may track that click for commission attribution.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of isle.toys, our users, or the public.

5. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

isle.toys, and third parties whose content we embed, store and access information on your device using cookies, browser local storage, and similar technologies. Specifically:

  • We use browser local storage to remember whether you have dismissed the welcome overlay.
  • We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies on your device to help us understand aggregate site traffic and usage patterns.
  • Embedded YouTube videos load content from YouTube’s servers, and YouTube and Google may set their own cookies on your browser when those embeds load. The same applies to Reddit and TikTok embeds.

isle.toys is intended for adults shopping for toys. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
